The Manifesto of Kerry Lauren Heaney

1. Black is always in Style.

2. I never wear pants. Dresses are my favorite thing to wear.

3. I love wearing red nail varnish, it reminds me of the 1950s and I don’t go out without nail varnish on, I feel naked without it.

4. The 1950s is my favorite era, for fashion and just everything else, things were so much safer and the people look like they were just so much lovelier.

5. A woman is never overdressed or underdressed with a little black dress.

6. The dresses your wear should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to show you're a lady

7. I never swear.

8. I believe a girl should be three things: Elegant, Classy and Fabulous.

9. I wear Lipstick 65% of the time, the other 35% I’m sleeping.

10. I don’t wear ‘trainers’.

11. My favorite books are Magazines, I love looking through at the Fashion and the pretty pictures, I hardly ever read them, unless I see somebody I really like in there and I want to read their story. I have quite a collection of Vogue, Wonderland and Dazed & Confused etc.

12. To appear well dressed, you have to be tall, pretty and skinny, something that I am not and would love to be.

13. Life is short, wear what you want.

14. Less is more. I think too many accessories looks awful.

15. I am not interested in the Money I could make. I just want to be wonderful. I would probably never have a lot of money anyway; when I do get money I spend it too fast on beautiful things, such as coats, shoes, bags and dresses.

16. Shopping is my favorite thing.

17. I love pastel colours; I think they’re beautiful!

18. I love perfume; my favorite scents at the moment are Chanel - Mademoiselle, Alien – Thierry Mugler, Ghost - Deep night and Oh Lola by Marc Jacobs. I wear them all the time. Coco Chanel once said ‘A women who doesn't wear perfume has no future’.

19. One of my favourite accessories is Sunglasses. I love Cat-eye sunglasses like what Marilyn Monroe wore, Wayfarer Sunglasses, over sized sunglasses like what Jackie Onassis and Audrey Hepburn wore and I love the Chanel half tint sunglasses Ashley Olsen wore. I wish I owned a pair of every kind of Sunglasses.
